Documents are read and parsed by this browser tab. Transactions are saved in this browser's IndexedDB storage under the database name local-ledger. The app makes no network calls with your document or transaction data, and there is no account or server behind it.

Because the data sits in ordinary browser storage, clearing site data — or using private browsing — removes it. Export a CSV or JSON snapshot to keep a copy.
